Frank has Fetishes ... yes, he does!. He has a fetish for Railroad Stations .... I guess it has something to do with genetics, since his father and before that all worked on the Railroad in some capacity. Very nostalgic for him. This was Luray ... also the Visitor Center at the RR X'ing.

One thing about these small towns in Virginia .... they love their music and always provide an amphitheater for the community. Some of the best music and location venues. A real treat. This one was in Luray down by the creek walk.
BEST LITTLE - BIG TOWN ..... STAUNTON (pronounced Stanton), VA
It took a full day to visit Staunton and take in all the adorable sites. Great restaurants, places to play - like GYPSY HILL PARK

Also, the location of Mary Balwin College (All Girls and likin' it). Their view was amazing from the top of the hill overlooking the town and valley. So much of that in this area.

WE KNEW we wouldn't get back that way and my itinerary was tight ... so, no rest for the weary - our next stop FRONTIER CULTURE CENTER and were we delighted at the amazing outdoor re-enacting settlements that are provided for the tourist. This was a great place. We were pretty tired after that day!
Stopped for a pick me up'er .. and headed home to rest up for Heritage on Main - Music Night. You just can't stop us!!!!!!
So that was the end of our day and night.....until tomorrow!!!! Monticello!
