Frank and I had a rip-roaring anniversary and a FAR CRY from what we did 12 years ago. From traditional to earth-based in 12 years.
Our weekend started in Melbourne, FL at the Native Rhythm Festival and Workshops.
I took a lot of medicine bag and flute workshops ... and Frank worked on HITCH to keep him in good shape.
Then, we spent the 3 days listening to the wonderful music presented by the musicians from the festival. Beautiful native sounds and current rock and roll.
Native ceremony and dancing was also at its best.
We did love the beach area .. it is so accessble and easy to just walk out from any restaurant. Love that! Not enough time for a real indepth look, but we did do the FIRST BLUSH! We found a 3pm ice cream break was a must!
We spent days in the truck, driving around ... and then enjoyed time with Jaret's family as a nice break and fulfilling visit. That Jaxson is a real card. GG'ma and GG'pa would get a real kick out of him!
Here are photos of Jaxson in the little car we got him for his birthday. He really enjoyed getting paraded around. Notice who is taking photos and who is pushing :)!!!!
TRUTHFULLY, I was just ready to get home. I had eggs to fry! ... We enjoyed the one day .. then home again home again, lickety split!
I was really excited to enjoy my treasures from our gadabout and begin planning my next event! Time!
